Spectacular Australia Day 2012

Assalamualaikum everybody!

So, it's the last day of January 2012. There were quite a number of occasions occured within this month but for Australian, this is the month to celebrate and commemorate their country and the culture. They celebrate Australia Day every January 26th, just like our Merdeka Day on 31st August every year.

Sebagai penetap sementara di negara 'down under' ni, kami semua pun turut dapat benefit cuti tu sekali. Tahun lepas kitorang pergi sambutan yang dekat Wollongong je. Tapi kali ni langkah panjang sikit, kami celebrate Australia Day 2012 di Sydney.

Hari tu hari yang sangat panas terik. Dari Wollongong, kami terus ke Bondi Beach nak tengok apa yang berlaku dekat situ. Sampai je sana tengok pantai Bondi tu penuh dengan pelampung berbentuk selipar warna kuning. Rupa-rupanya ada Giant Thong Challenge 2012. So, kami pun menyebok beli jugak nak bawak balik Malaysia. Seriously, it was a huge one bole buat katil atas air. =)

Lama jugak kitorang lepak Bondi Beach tu sambil tengok gelagat manusia yang bermacam-macam. Tapi kan, I was the only manusia yang usung payung ke sana sini. Panas gila beb! Orang lain semua rileks je dok  tergolek-golek sunbathing. Mesti diorang pelik tengok kitorang yang tak ikut tema pakaian (bikini and brief) turun ke pantai. haha. Lantak lah!

Lepas dah puas menghitamkan kulit, kami teruskan perjalanan ke Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. Macam-macam cara diorang celebrate sebenarnya. Fun lah jugak dapat experience tengok semua tu. Bila dah sampai Darling Harbour, kami terselit antara ribuan manusia yang dok cari port yg paling best kat situ.

The best part was, we managed to watch spectacular fireworks and laser shows that night. Memang sangat menarik dengan susunan lagu yang best dengan show bunga api tu. Tak berkelip mata tengok rasanya. Overall, it was a very very exhausting yet so much fun day. I have no idea if I'm gonna have another Australia Day next year. If not, this was the best Australia Day I ever experienced so far.

Happy first month dear Fiancé!

Here without you

Dear diary,

It is 6 o'clock in the morning and I still find myself wide awake. Hati rasa tak berapa tenang bagaikan ada sesuatu yang mencuit perasaan.

I went out with friends last night when suddenly something triggered my feelings. I tried very hard not to care, but still, I had tears rolled down my cheeks. 

Rasa macam semua serba tak kena. I grabbed a few things to buy dengan harapan boleh menghiburkan hati, somehow it didn't work very well to ease that uncontrollable feelings.

I know mental control is the best solution so far. Although the other emotion may still linger, it will fade and eventually I won't feel it that much. Hopefully.

Otw balik tu, kitorang singgah McD and I had Strawberry Hotcakes with a cup of chocolate for supper. Real strawberry sauce and a dollop of fresh yogurt make it so irresistable that I hardly can refuse.

Fake smile. hehehe.

Sambil makan tu jugak kebetulan they had this song playing on the air. Here Without You by 3 Doors Down. Fyi, this is one of my all time favourite song yang I akan dengar almost everyday kat office. Tapi I suka version yang Boyce Avenue cover. 

Favourite. Sangat-sangat. 

A love is born

Dear diary,

It is his birthday today. Ohh, I should best address him as my fiance now I. I just turned 26 two months ago while he is celebrating his 27th birthday now. This makes him 9 months and 10 days older than me. Isn't that ironic? =)

I was actually planning to stay in Malaysia until today's date. Tapi malangnya semua ticket sempena Chinese New Year dah sold out. So I have got no other choice but to come back a week earlier than I planned.

Ni dah masuk tahun yang entah ke berapa kitorang tak dapat nak celebrate events sama-sama. Eh, cuba sabo sikit. Kalau dah kawen nanti sambut lah hari pape je yang nak. Hari lahir ke, hari cabut gigi ke, hari jatuh kerusi ke, ape-ape hari je pon bolehhh. 

Pendek kata boleh sambut hari special hari-hari.hehehe. Tapi kena tunggu duduk sekali lah baru boleh kan. So sekarang tengah jauh-jauh ni tak payah nak emo-emo sangat okeh! Appreciate apa yang ada..=))

I'm sorry for not being there today. I guess this is the price I need to pay when I am still a full time student living 4000++ miles away from my fiance. Hopefully this situation wouldn't have to be any much longer.

Chubby cheeks grow with love

Assalamualaikum semua,

Sedar tak sedar hari ni dah masuk hari ke-4 I balik ke Wollongong. I felt very awkward at first and everything seems not to fall into the right place. It took me some time to get back to the old routine. I found it very hard to get out from my house and go to uni, and it is even harder to sit down at my workplace and start working.

I also missed the time when I can walk energetically to uni EVERYDAY. Sekarang ni cuaca panas sikit buat I malas nak menapak. Silap hari bulan cuaca macam ni boleh buat I tukar warna jadi dayang senandung. So I terpaksa tukar routine lah rasanya lepas ni. Pergi uni naik bas, balik uni jalan kaki. 

You know what, balik Malaysia baru-baru ni I dah kumpul extra lemak sebanyak 2kg. Seriously I boleh rasa pipi kembang semangkuk, perut kembang sebesen. Ingatkan balik sini boleh control makan. Tapi harapan aje lah. Makin sehatttt ade laaaa. Aimy punya pasal la ni sape suruh masak sedap-sedap!! Aiyooo. Dear fatss, please go away from me fast!! Rasa berat sangat dah ni.huhu.

Having chubby cheeks in your childhood is quite a delight. Cute gila hokayy tengok budak-budak pipi tembam rasa nak cubit-cubit, rasa nak gigit-gigit. But when you are in your twenties or thirties,  you might want to think twice. Hellooooo?? Who wants chubby cheeks in their photos?? Me no likey but I already got one. Aaaaaa!! Tensi tensi!! Kunyah bubble gum boleh kuruskan pipi tak ehhh??

Goodbye Penang, I will miss you

Dear diary,

Time passes without me noticing and now I need to go back to Australia in short. As I am counting days and weeks as they passed,  now I just need to look forward to the time when I am going to come back again. For good.

With a ring on my finger, and promises forever together, here come the challenging days ahead that both of us need to treasure. Hopefully we will be alright. We sure will. InsyaAllah.

Ohh by the way, today is going to be my last day in Penang. Hmm, tak best tak best! I'm so gonna miss this place like very badly. I have been spending my pleasant time here for the past few days, and tiba-tiba esok dah gerak ke KL. Mencik!

Tapi semalam I puas hati sebab dah dapat melunaskan keinginan tekak nak makan Mee Sotong Padang Kota. Or we just call it Mee Pata instead. I believe most people will like it especially to all food lover. Dengan gabungan Coconut Milkshake and Cendol semangkuk, memang jadi hidangan terbaik lagi-lagi masa cuaca panas!

Lepas dah puas makan kat situ, boleh jalan-jalan dekat Gurney Drive. Then kalau nak shopping boleh pegi Gurney Plaza dekat jeee. Hamboi kau promote tak ingat ye Mira. hahaha. So if you happen to go to this area, please please please la singgah yea! Tapi jangan lupa ajak I sekali!! =))

From "Will you marry me?" to "I do"

Dear diary,

It has been four days after 2012, and here I am, sitting here without any new resolution just like the previous years. There are actually a lot to be listed! Really. But I have no idea why I never wrote them down like what other people always do.

Anyway, 2011 has been quite good to me. Alhamdulillah. Though I have been emotionally, and psychologically challenged throughout the year, but thank you Allah for granting me with the strength to sturdily get through them all. Despite all the challenges, I ended my 2011 with the sweetest moment that I could possibly forget in my whole life.

As the continuation of our love story in here and here, from "Will you marry me?" to "I do", Amri and Amirah are now officially engaged. Embracing the sanctity of matrimony, the spirit in the family, and the pride in our ancestry, it is our promise to upgrade our relation to the next level, which is sacred marriage.

Forgive me if I kept the news low. It is not that I want to keep it as a secret, but more to let my life remains low profile. But I know there are some of you whom I believe will always support me no matter what happen in my life. So now I would like to share the happiness with my dearly loyal readers, the beautiful moments when I officially became Faizal Amri's fiance.
