Happy 6th Birthday to my amazing little man, Adam! Can you believe it's March 17th already? Six years ago today, he made his grand entrance, and let's just say, it was a memorable one! Think 'superhero landing' but in baby form. 😉 He was a big (literally so big), beautiful surprise, and totally worth the tiny battle scar that brought him to me.
My first glimpse of him, though I was under the influence of strong pain medication, was an unexplainable feeling.
Just like his sister, he was nurtured with love, a bond forged through over two years of breastfeeding. As a working mom, my pumps and coolers were my trusty sidekicks. Seriously, those things went everywhere with me – even on vacation! Those days, though super challenging, were filled with a profound sense of connection. Between me and him.
Those milk monster days. My sweet Michelin baby.
Weaning him? Oh boy, that was an adventure! He was like my little Velcro baby, always stuck to me. And honestly, he still kind of is even until now! 😂 He thinks I'm his personal superhero, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm secretly glad that he still sees me as his world. A love so pure, so unwavering.
Looking back at his baby photos, a wave of nostalgia washes over me and makes me smile so big! I miss those tiny hands, that innocent gaze. And I also miss those chubby cheeks and baby giggles. It's a bittersweet feeling, realizing I haven't shared these precious memories here.
At an age when Mom was the center of his universe. No one else. 😂
And I realized I've been hoarding all these adorable moments! So, in honor of Adam turning six, let's dive into a photo dump of his cutest baby moments! Get ready for some serious cuteness overload!
On his first year of life.
Covid turned my days into 'mom-time' and my nights into 'work-time.' It was a bittersweet experience.
It's amazing how he went from being so scared of the water to being such a good swimmer.
Looking back on those whirlwind years, the sleepless nights, the constant juggling, it all blurs into a single, clear image: love. Through every challenge, every milestone, every ordinary moment, it was love that carried us. It's a journey I wouldn't trade for the world.
Happy birthday, my sonshine! 😘
