Butter Cake and Happy Father's Day 2013

Assalamualaikum,

Hello everyone! You guys are still busy at work? Ke ada yang dah tengah bersiap sedia nak balik ni? hehe. I tetiba ja teringat nak makan butter cake hari ni. Ala, jenis traditional yang simple takde perisa apa-apa pun tu. Makan pulak dengan teh o panas petang-petang yang mendung macam ni mesti layan gila kan? huhu. Kecoq ayaq lioq aihhh. Haipp, tak sedar diri tengah puasa lettew. T___T

I want something simple like this.
Moist, rich and buttery cake. Nyummss!!

Hari ni suami kata takyah masak sebab nak beli je makanan kat pasar minggu Bertam Putra untuk berbuka nanti. Sampai sana nanti confirm rambang mata taktau nak makan apa. Sudahnya I beli cucoq peneram (kuih benderam) 3 ringgit dengan tau fu fah semangkuk. hahaha. Penat ja pusing-pusing tapi benda yang sama jugak beli tiap-tiap minggu. :p

Ohh, I belom update lagi pasal Father's Day celebration with my family last weekend. Kali ni my sister, Fatin Anisah yang open table belanja semua orang sempena Hari Bapa untuk tahun ni. Ya Allah, tak sedar adik-adik I dah besar rupanya. Dulu asyik dok pow kakak sekarang dah kerja dah dia. Dah siap jadi tunangan orang pun at her young age. huhu. Time flies very quickly now and everybody is growing up (older to be more exact) too fast I don't even seem to realize..

Happy Father's Day, Bapak!
We love you soo much!

Mula-mula kitorang nak makan dekat Mee Udang Pak Ngah yang dekat Sungai Dua tu. Tapi bila dah sampai depan kedai, tengok-tengok tutup pulak. Pak Ngah ni saja tau orang pi berapa kali asyik tak bukak je. Selamat la kitorang dekat je, kalau yang mai dari jauh-jauh tu confirm kecewa je tengok kedai tutup. huhu.

Sudahnya, we opted for the nearest restaurant within our sight, L.A Tea Garden. It is situated right in front of a petrol station (Petron), and there is another petrol station (also Petron) beside the cafe. Sekali imbas, tengok cafe ni macam satu rumah kampung lama yang di ubah suai jadi restaurant makanan barat. Kira macam feeling makan bawah beranda gitu. Siap ada ruang makan yang sebijik macam dalam rumah lagi.

Suasana dalam restaurant. Makan bawah beranda rumah. hehe.
Huda in her Apple scarf. She was only a baby 10 years ago and now she looks like a grown up already.
Sedaq-sedaq nanti dia dah nak kawen pulak. Omg, don't grow up too fast, sister!

Konsep restaurant yang boleh tahan menarik, dan hidangan yang agak menyelerakan. Eceh, dah bunyi macam Chef Joe dalam Masterchef Celebrity 2 pulak. hikhik. :p In overall, the ambiance is very welcoming, the service is extremely fast, and the foods are so nice with reasonable portion and the pricing is very friendly to our pocket. Walaupun hampir 90% menu adalah western, however, they also add a slight hint of Malay touch in every meal they serve. That makes them a little bit different as compared to other western restaurants that I have been to.

Some of the foods we ordered.
Mine is the Oglio Seafood at the top. Recommended!

To make it short, I personally want to come again to this restaurant to try the other foods they have in the menu list. I susah sikit nak bagi good rate dekat western restaurants as I have tasted something soo good while I was abroad, but here, I can say that they have their own signature that makes me want to visit them again.

My mom and my sisters. All with happy faces.
