Rezeki sebelum kahwin :)

Assalamualaikum semua,

How is your year 2012 ending? Anything interesting? No matter how it is, I will pray for the best to all of us and let's start year 2013 with more positive vibes okay? Well, Australia is still on its long Christmas and New Year holiday, so sedikit sebanyak it does affect my activity here. 

Ohh I think I would love to share something today. Rasanya most of my readers already knew that I'm getting married in about 3 months time. Urgghh, time flies so fast I merely can't help but feeling quite nervous about the upcoming big day.

Anyway that's not the main point. What I am trying to share here is about our house after we get married. I ada tulis pasal persediaan untuk menduduki rumah selepas berkahwin dekat SINI, and without us knowing, it really costs us a fortune just to start a living.

Mana taknya, ada terlampau banyak benda yang nak kena siapkan macam bilik tidur, ruang tamu, dapur and kelengkapan asas lain yang diperlukan dalam sebuah rumah. All these things are not cheap I tell you. Serious mahal gila rasa macam nak duduk dalam khemah hahaha. Okay tipu. :p

However, beberapa minggu yang lepas, my mom ada dengar pasal Hotel Sunway Seberang Jaya yang tengah under renovation and they offer a good bargain for people to buy stuffs in the room in one whole package at a second hand rate.

Kira macam bayar certain amount, then you can have EVERYTHING inside the room and the toilet. Katil, TV, side tables, lampu, rak TV, study desk, kerusi, couch, carpet, curtain, wall decorations, wardrobe, toilet bowl, sink, mirror, shower, bath tub, pendek kata SEMUA lah apa je yang ada  dalam bilik macam kat bawah ni.

Maybe barang nampak old school lah sikit but who cares? As long as dapat berjimat I am more over the moon already. Pheww lega rasanya sekurang-kurangnya barang basic yang perlu dah ada. Ha lepas ni dah tak payah tido hotel dah, bilik sendiri dah feeling-feeling hotel dah nanti. hihi.

Tapi memandangkan rumah tu tak besar mana, maka nanti barang-barang ni akan dibahagikan kat merata-rata bilik. Katil kita letak kat master bedroom almari besar godang tu pulak kita campak kat bilik belakang. Boleh la merasa ada wardrobe room sendiri. cewah! :p

Older than time

Assalamualaikum,

Today is the last day of the 10th month in year 2011. Indicating that October is leaving us in the next couple of hours. Without me noticing, it ends sooner than I ever expected. And believe me, the next thing we realize, 2011 will then be another year in memory.

Ohh well, speaking of memory, I lost my dearly loved and favourite earring last Friday. It might sound like a small problem but still, it brought tears to my eyes. Why? Sebab subang tu mak yang bagi. Nothing in this world could ever return the love that tangled alongside.

Hmm, I don't know what is wrong with me. Hari tu hilang cincin yang mak bagi. Sekarang subang pulak. Also from my mum. What's left now are only gold bracelet and gold necklace with ruby pendant. Itu ajelah harta yang I ada sekarang. They are old, but to me, they can never be older than time. Simbolik huh? :)

Being typical me, I sangat susah nak terima kenyataan kalau hilang sesuatu benda pemberian orang. I bet everybody feel the same rite. I know tak ada benda dalam dunia ni yang kekal, but still, I will try my very best to keep everything as long as I can, especially the ones that people gave me. Tapi tu lah, sebaik-baik mana pun kita jaga, kalau jodoh tak panjang, tak ada rezeki jugak. Terima aje lah kan.

So, I think I got to get myself a new pair of earring now. Huduh sangat rupanya bersubang sebelah. Tapi kalau tak pakai rasa pelik la pulak. Nak beli sendiri tapi tak reti nak pilih. Biasanya yang orang pilih tu will look best on me. Maybe kena tunggu sampai balik Malaysia nanti lah agaknya. So, here's another thing to include in my wishlist.

Happy Sunday everyone! Ceria je bunyi pagi-pagi sebab dah terlebih tido malam tadi. Perut buat hal akibat lawatan bulanan dari 'si dia' yang tekun menjalankan tugas melawat kawasan. Sebelum tido malam tadi dah timbus-timbus perut dengan apa saja benda yang nampak depan mata. 

Tiba-tiba tengah malam terjaga sebab rasa rimas yang amat bila tengok apa la yang macam-macam sangat ada atas perut ni.hahaha. Kalau ada benda seberat bulldozer pun mungkin akan turut diletak sekali dengan harapan supaya kesakitan cepat hilang. I love you lah PMS!! ;O

Ohh, pagi tadi mengemas rumah hati rasa tenang lepas tengok kotak yang 3 ketul tu dah tak ada dekat ruang tamu. Agaknya apa la yang kotak-kotak tu buat dalam kontena tu sekarang ye? Take good care of yourselves all dear boxes. Till we meet again in Malaysia somewhere around next year. Be good yea, promise me!

Ceritanya macam ni, sejak beberapa bulan yang lepas, Malaysian di Wollongong dah berpakat untuk share shipping barang-barang ke Malaysia di bawah urusan Kak Syikin sebagai manager yang amat berwibawa. Dengan gabungan kuasa beberapa family, finally barang-barang yang diangkut jadi lebih dari satu kontena. I yang belum tiba masa nak balik lagi pun sebok la nak selitkan barang untuk shipping jugak. Tak banyak pun, 3 kotak je.hehe..:p

Seawal jam 8 pagi hari Jumaat lepas, sekelian rakyat jelata telah dikerahkan tenaga untuk bergotong-royong mengumpulkan barang di kawasan Graduate House. Nampak perpaduan yang sangat dibanggakan di sini apabila beratus-ratus kotak siap dikumpulkan dalam masa yang singkat. Semuanya manpowers lah. Yang perempuan mampu bagi sokongan dari tepi saje ye. Mau terkehel urat pinggang kalau nak kena angkut kotak yang melambak tu.

Boleh bayang banyak tak banyak??

Alhamdulillah berkat kerjasama semua orang, semua barang selamat di loading ke dalam kontena. Tiap-tiap kali tengok orang tu campak je kotak-kotak, tersentap jantung tuan punya kotak. Mana tidaknya, masing-masing hantar set Corelle berkotak-kotak, Noritake lagi, electrical appliances lagi, mau berpuluh ribu dollar jugak taksiran barang dalam kontena tu rasanya. Sambil-sambil tengok tu kami semua berdoa supaya semua barang yang dihantar selamat sampai dalam keadaan asalnya. InsyaAllah.

Hantar barang balik Malaysia pun secara berjemaah.hehe.. :)

Rumahku..

Dear diary,

I talked to my mum through skype for two hours just now. Ambik kau!! Balas dendam lepas 2 minggu tak skype. Tapi phone call hampir setiap hari la. Our conversation covered from the smallest until the biggest things that happened around us. Ahhh!! Rindunya nak duduk borak dgn mak macam dulu2. We can talk for a few hours about everything without noticing how fast the time flies. That is how close me and my mother is. Rindu..rindu..rindu..=(

Out of other things that we discussed just now, I want to highlight about something here. Having the experience of buying a new property made me learn about so many things. I never knew that buying a house could cost me quite a fortune. Despite paying for the original price, we need to have at least a few extra thousands RM to compensate tedious things like insurance, lawyers & agreement, electricity & water, simple renovation, and basic utilities. It costs me more than 10K for all the extras. Gosh!! I thought buying a house is trouble-free. Now I know that it is not that easy though.

I'm sure that you have no idea on what I'm rambling about rite? Sorry about that. Okay, let me explain. I bought a house in Bertam Perdana, Kepala Batas, Penang since 2years ago. A single-storey-terraced house. Alhamdulillah, it is now ready for a living. Actually, I don't have plan to stay there. It is just as an asset for my future and the house is meant for rental. I bought it at the price of RM138K for 25years of loan. I started paying my housing loan at the age of 23. Meaning that I'll do the payment until I'm 48years old. Hahahaha. Gila!! Silap-silap dah anak 6 dah masa tu tapi rumah dok tak habis bayar lagi. Tapi apa nak buat kan. Kalau tak beli sekarang, bila lagi? huhu..

I choose simple design like this and it costs me around RM3K for the complete set. Crazy!

For those who have plan to buy a new house, once you obtain your house key, please prepare at least RM3000 to pay your lawyer who's going to manage everything about your housing loan. Then, you require at least RM2000 for housing insurance. You also need to pay for the electricity and water which will cost around RM1000. For a simple renovation like grills (main and back doors, window, sliding doors), lamps, fans and a few other things, they will cost you around RM3-5000. Look at how much you have to pay for simple and basic things like these. And there goes my RM10K. Total disaster!! Garu kepala jugak bila dengar mak cakap harga semua ni. Mana nak cekau duit?? Uwaaaa!! Alamatnya habis la duit dalam tabung badak saye yg tak berapa nak gemok tu..=((

HOWEVER, I felt so relief cause I don't need to pay all these in one whole bunch. Thanks to my mum for making my life easier. She already paid half of the amount and I'll pay the rest. Then I'll do the payment to her every month. Haruslah bayar balik, mana bole free je amik duit mak okay. Phewwww!! Lega gila dengar bila mak offer nak tolong bayar dulu. Terima kasih mak sebab tolong Mirah. Kalau tak mesti Mirah terkontang-kanting taktau nak buat apa pasal nak beli rumah ni. Maklumla budak lagi. Huhu.. When I came to think about this, I'm so grateful to have a mother who works in banking area. So, she knows exactly how to handle financial things like this. Thanks heaps Mak!! I love you..=))

p/s: Alhamdulillah dah ada orang nak sewa rumah tu. Ringan sikit beban nak bayar hutang tiap2 bulan. Susah rupanya proses beli rumah ni. huhu. If you have chance, start buying property at your young age okay. Treat it as an asset. The price increases every year. You are not going to regret. trust me!!=))

Blacky Dearest

Dear Diary,

It is 11.10pm now..and there is still no sign for me to sleep yet.. I keep thinking on something for the whole day today.. Perhaps i miss something..hmmm, many things literally..but I keep on thinking about my Blacky over and over again today..

How's his condition? Is the engine works as good as what I left just before I flew here? Is he shines handsomely as he always does? Did somebody send him to the workshop for his regular service on the correct time?? There are soo many things on my mind about him now.. Damn, I know that I miss him soo badly, terribly!!

Owh, I know you don't understand what the heck that I'm talking about now.. Who's Blacky? What does he means to me? Okay dearie, for your information i have him longgg before i have u in my life.. Sorry for not telling u earlier but there he is.. the love of my life.. You have to accept the fact that there's some'thing' else who is close (really2 close) to me apart from you.. But it doesn't mean that i don't love you okay sweetie.. You're the closest now as i feel like I always need to share with you EVERYTHING about me and my life here in the Land Down Under..

Okay, Blacky is my car.. Yes, my very first, my own car.. I had him since 26 Dec 2007 and up until now he has been with me for almost 2 years.. OMG, this means that he's going to celebrate his 2nd birthday soon.. Owh, poor you my dear Blacky.. I'm not going to be there for u on your birthday.. I can't send you to your favourite carwash to clean u up and buy new fragrance for u.. You gotta be alone this year baby..and maybe for another 3 years to come.. I'm soo sorry about this.. Be strong okay coz I'll definitely love u more eventho we're far apart..

Hye dear...It has been 3 days since my housemate, Kak Ean gone back to Malaysia leaving me all alone in this house..But living by myself in this small-yet-very comfy house is not very bad after all..I was quite nervous during the first night but I made it!!This is something that I can be proud of..The remaining few days should be okay..hehe..ala,sminggu je pun..next weekend I'll have Laili to replace Kak Ean..HAPPY!!=))

Owh, I forgot to tell you that I spent my money on a few things last Friday..The story happened to be like this..That day I followed Fairus to send Kak Ean at Sydney Kingsford's international Airport. On our way back to Wollongong, we stopped at a few places that caused my money flew away.teehee..xpe la,bukan slalu..(alasan je ni)..(^_~)

First, we stopped at Corelle Factory Outlet in Oiordan St (ntah betol ke x eja,but something like this la) and I grabbed one 20 pieces Enhancements set which cost me AUD 71.95..the original price is AUD 89.90 but I got it for 30% discount..lepas dah bayar rasa rugi plk x amik 2 set..akhirnya I terjebak jugak dlm dunia Corell ni..hehe..=))

Then, our next stopped was at Canterbury Factory Outlet store which is just a few hundred meters from Corelle Outlet.. I'm not a big fan of Canterbury or Wallabies or what so ever, but I still bought something for my father and BF..2 polo shirts that cost me about AUD 40..atleast I have something for them that people won't easily get in Malaysia..=))

Then, Fairus brought me to Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre at Drummoyne.. This the place where you can shop whilst enjoying the spectacular view of Sydney Harbour and browsing through a huge range of your favourite fashion, food and lifestyle brand..I bought myself a pair of jeans from Levi's,Skinny Slim Fit, Heather Blue..murah beb,only AUD 39.90..kalo kat Malaysia busuk2 pun mesti RM180..So,mmg patut beli pun..=))

Can't you see how a single day could cost me around AUD200 which is equivalent to RM600..Ni pun dah kira terer sebab I manage to control my desires from buying other unnecessary-yet-very interesting things like shoes, dresses, blouses, perfumes, handbags bla..bla..bla.. Owh, I'm soo proud of myself!!teeheee..(^_~)
